Treatments for fertility pay attention to each of the various phases of the menstrual cycle maximizing function of your reproductive organs including the ovaries and other glands. We do this by considering each phase of your cycle from a Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective. Therefore, we highly recommend treatments once a week as you go through the 4 different phases of your cycle (period, post-period, ovulation, & post-ovulation). After 3 menstrual cycles, we look at what changes have occurred and reassess.  Chinese herbal supplements are generally prescibed  to optimize your treatments when not taking Western fertility medications.

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine can be used to help prepare for, and enhance conception for In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), and other Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) protocols. It is generally recommended that a minimum of 8-10 treatments prior to an IVF cycles should occur to maximize egg quality and help optimize hormones.
