At Family Tree Acupuncture we use acupuncture, acupressure, Tui Na (Chinese medical massage), non needling techniques, herbal and dietary therapy to treat illnesses and imbalances in childhood and adolescence.
Treatments for infants and younger children can be done in a parent's arms or while nursing. The practice of pediatric acupuncture and massage is not only non-invasive and nurturing but it also provides children and teens with quick relief.
Appointments for children (ages 0-12) are 60 minutes for the first visit and 30 minutes follow up visits. Appointments for adolescent (ages 12-17) are 90 minutes for the first visit and 60 minutes for follow ups. The first visit includes a full initial intake and health history, initial herbal and dietary consultation, as well as an initial treatment. Follow up visits include follow up herbal and dietary consultations and as well as a treatment.
