New Patient Acupuncture

During this initial 90-minute appointment, we will address your health concerns, review your health history, and provide your first acupuncture treatment. Please fill out your online intake forms and upload your insurance card at least 2 days before your appointment. *Cost of herbs/supplements not included.

Follow up Acupuncture

Follow up appointments (60 mins) are for active patients who have already completed their new patient session and have had appointments in the last 6 months. This appointment includes a brief check in, herbal/supplement review and acupuncture treatment.

*If it's been more than 6 months since your last treatment your appointment will be changed to a Re-Evaluation Acupuncture. If it’s been more than 3 years since your last visit, please book a New Patient Acupuncture

Re-Evaluation Acupuncture

Re-evaluation appointments (60 mins) are for patients who have not had an appointment within the last 6 months and need to re-establish care. This appointment includes a detailed check in, herbal/supplement evaluation and acupuncture treatment.

Labor Prep Acupuncture

This 60 minute appointment is for new patients who are 37+ weeks pregnant and need to book a time sensitive appointment. It includes a 10-15 minute intake to review your pregnancy health history and acupuncture treatment. If you would like to utilize acupuncture for a chronic or more complex health concern, please book a New Patient Acupuncture appointment. Please fill out your online intake forms and upload your insurance card at least 2 days before your appointment. *This treatment type does not include Chinese herbal prescriptions or supplement evaluations.

Online New Patient Chinese Herbal Consultation

This 45-minute online appointment is a convenient option for new patients who who wish to started with Chinese herbs from the comfort of your own space. In this video appointment, we’ll discuss your health concerns, review your health history, and answer questions. Instructions on how to purchase your Chinese herbal prescriptions will be reviewed during your appointment. You are welcome to book Follow up Acupuncture or Online Follow ups after this appointment. You must live in the state of MN for online appointments. Insurance can not be billed for online appointments. *Cost of herbs/supplements not included.

Online Follow Up Chinese Herbal Consultation

Established patients can schedule this 20-minute online Chinese herbal consultation to discuss continuing treatment plans and receive Chinese herbal medicine prescriptions. The appointment will include a brief check-in and evaluation of current prescriptions. If it's been more than 1 year since your last visit or you know you will need more than 20 mins, book an Online New Patient appointment. You must live in the state of MN for online appointments. Insurance can not be billed for online appointments. *Cost of herbs/supplements not included.

Family Tree Acupuncture accepts cash, checks, credit cards and Health/Flex Savings Account (HSA/FSH) cards.  Please check your acupuncture benefits prior to your first appointment if you would like us to bill your insurance. We are in-network providers and will bill for the following insurance companies:

  • Veteran's Affairs Community Care Network

  • Auto Insurance Injury

  • Medical Assistance Programs

  • Medicare Advantage

    Note: Our clinic is NOT in-network with HealthPartners. Stefanie Beniek, LAc is the only in-network provider with UCare and Medical Assistance Programs. Kindly schedule your appointments with the relevant provider based on your insurance coverage.



Cancellation Policy

Thanks for choosing Family Tree Acupuncture! As a courtesy to all of our patients, we strive to maintain a smooth and efficient operation so that you can enjoy your treatment on time, all of the time. Since our services are by appointment only, please make yourself familiar with our cancellation policy.

  • 24 hours notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment to avoid charges.

  • Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee.

  • Illness, emergencies and certain exceptions can be made on a case by case basis, but must be done by phone/text before the appointment.
