Stefanie Beniek, founder and owner of Family Tree Acupuncture, is a Licensed Acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Medicine. She specializes in fertility (including IUI and IVF support), pregnancy and postpartum care, gynecological conditions, pain management, and mental health. Her approach focuses on identifying root causes and supporting long-term wellness through personalized, effective care.

With advanced training in obstetric and reproductive medicine and a strong foundation in acupuncture and herbal therapies, Stefanie combines evidence-based strategies with holistic support. She values clear communication and collaborates with other healthcare providers to help patients feel fully supported in their care.

Stefanie is committed to inclusive, affirming care and has a special focus on supporting LGBTQ+ patients and families. Her personal journey as a parent has deepened that commitment. She lives in South Minneapolis with her husband, two daughters, and two doodles. Outside the clinic, she enjoys playing and watching soccer, skiing in the winter, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Dr. Andrea McNeer, L.Ac., DCM

Dr. Andrea McNeer is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine. Her deep-seated passion for integrative healing and evidence-based medicine inspires her to take a holistic, patient-centered approach, harmonizing Eastern philosophies with modern science. With advanced training in acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and dietary therapy, she creates personalized treatment plans that support each patient’s long-term wellness.

Andrea has a special interest in women’s health, reproductive health, digestive wellness, and mental health. Her multicultural background and fluency in Spanish have allowed her to expand access to care through internships at La Clinica, the Salvation Army, and the Integrative Clinic of Minnesota. She values collaboration with other healthcare professionals and is committed to making Chinese medicine inclusive and accessible.

Andrea lives in Saint Louis Park with her husband and their dog, Bentley. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, playing tennis, being in nature, spending time with family, and exploring new places and cultures whenever possible.

Sophia Catanoso, L.Ac.,MAc

Sophia Catanoso, L. Ac, is a licensed acupuncturist and holds a Master of Acupuncture from Northwestern Health Sciences University. She has trained in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community clinics. She's also worked alongside interdisciplinary teams to serve diverse populations, including those experiencing homelessness, addiction, chronic pain, and mental health issues. She appreciates how Chinese medicine looks at the body as a whole and how each person can have their own specific treatment that works for them.

She has a particular passion for supporting patients in areas of sexual health, fertility and LGBTQ+ health, and is committed to providing affirming care for all individuals, regardless of their background. At the heart of Sophia’s practice is a desire to create a space where patients feel comfortable. She believes in empowering individuals to develop a deeper awareness of their bodies, to encourage curiosity and connection. 

Sophia lives in Northeast Minneapolis with her husband and cat. You may find her wandering around her neighborhood with binoculars, looking at birds and various wildlife. She also enjoys baking elaborate treats, gardening, and playing music in a local indie band.
