Welcome Dr. Nikki Vang to Family Tree Acupuncture!

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Nikki Vang, DCM, L.Ac. to the Family Tree Acupuncture team!

Dr. Nikki completed both her Master’s in Acupuncture (2022) and Doctorate in Chinese Medicine (2023) at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington. She brings strong clinical training along with a deep respect for the traditional healing practices that first sparked her interest in Chinese medicine.

Nikki grew up in a family where traditional Chinese and Southeast Asian remedies were a normal part of caring for health. Those early experiences—seeing how herbal foods, topical remedies, and simple traditional treatments were used to support wellness—helped shape her path toward studying Chinese medicine professionally.

During her training, Dr. Nikki completed clinical rotations at Woodwinds Hospital, the University of Minnesota Medical Center (Riverside and Journey Center locations), and the Integrative Clinic of Minnesota. Through these experiences she worked with a diverse range of patients and health concerns in both hospital-based and community clinics.

Her clinical interests include:
• Fertility and reproductive health
• Digestive conditions
• Mental and emotional health
• Whole-body wellness & preventative care

Dr. Nikki is especially passionate about providing inclusive and accessible care. She has experience working with patients from many backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, the Hmong community, and individuals navigating financial barriers to healthcare. Her goal is to create a welcoming space where patients feel supported and respected in their healing process.

Outside the clinic, Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband and family, playing board games, singing, and playing music. She plays several instruments including guitar, piano, and the hulusi.

We’re thrilled to have Dr. Nikki join our team and look forward to introducing her to our community.
